Position Description
The Geotechnical Engineer report to Study Manager, will be responsibility and performance of geotechnical or geological assignments at various field locations associated with particular mining operations and projects. Perform geotechnical analysis and study to assess mining operation all sites condition, conduct geotechnical exploration effectively, and environmental investigations for mining operations and projects to ensure that all targets for safety, environment and production are archived to operation.
Major Objective of The Position
• Take an active role in the business development of the company services and in particular the mining geotechnical engineering service;
• Technical support the development and implementation of business and strategic plans for the geotechnical aspect within mine operations of Kencana Minerals;
• Ensuring that process, systems and resources are in place to collect data, interpret and build the geotechnical models for each mining area.
• Provision of technical services of geotechnical assessment for Pit Designs, Waste Dump designs and other designs as required , providing inputs to the designs and other considerations which are to be assimilated into the planning process;
• Investigating technology improvements and providing strategic direction to the business as to how and when new technologies can be used;
• Providing effective leadership to the geotechnical team by setting clear expectations, provide feedback and coaching;
• The Geotechnical Engineer will provide geotechnical engineering expertise within the Mine Operation and Project Development team, including feasibility studies, optimization studies, corporate governance reviews and evaluations of new opportunities;
• Contribute to the development of, and review, project trade-off studies;
• Liaise with other personnel and consultants as required;
• When requested from time to time the Geotechnical Engineer will deputies for the Study Manager when the latter is off site or as otherwise required; and
• Provide support to advise for documents of Feasibility Study, AMDAL, RKAB, RKTTL, and other compliance documents as required.
Principal Accountabilities
• Ensuring that the organization’s Health and Safety Standards are effectively implemented within the work group in a manner consistent with the company standards;
• Well understanding about mining operation (facilities/equipment/man power) and have ability related documents will addressed to the Government of Indonesia (RKAB, RKTTL,Triwulan report), Feasibility Study, and AMDAL;
• Assisting with the preparation of mineral resources and ore reserve estimate involved in modifying factors based on standard compliance;
• Developing and implementing geotechnical programs - coordinating with mine planning to ensure geotechnical information is available in a timely manner and appropriately implemented;
• Providing information to operations on pit slope conditions, identifying key geological and geotechnical factors impacting on pit slope design and stability in each domain.
• Provide geotechnical engineering services with respect to site investigation and design to computing and modelling often design and apply to characteristic and predict rock and ground behavior. The models often look at stress regimes and rock strength by looking at the rock properties and then varying the situation parameters whether they be geometrical, material, etc;
• Supervision, training, and guidance of Geotechnical Engineers within the Study Group of Kencana Minerals;
• Liaising with the mine and exploration geology, mine survey, hydrogeologist, mine operations, mine engineer, consultants and project engineering personnel to ensure optimum coordination of functions;
• Assisting with the preparation of geotechnical budgets for the mine for yearly and Life of Mine (LoM) plans;
• Deputize for the Study Manager in periods where required;
• Implementation and evaluation of new technologies for net benefit to Study Group as a whole; and
• Ensure the transfer of technical knowledge to the all workforce.
Working Conditions/Environment
Either Jakarta based but with travel required to the various sites as needed.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Pre-requisites for the position: Inherent in the job
• Formal Education:
- A mining engineering or geology qualification is desirable.
• Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of geotechnical experience in the mining industry, preferably in an open pit mine operation, and hard rock geological environment
- At least 5 years experience with an ability to make practical and timely recommendations regarding geometry of the development drives and mining method.
- At least 2 years experience with geotechnical field operation for supervision team
- Intensively and familiar using mining software (SURPAC and ROCKSCIENCE)
• Behavior and Conduct:
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa.
- Good written communication skills in English and Bahasa.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines

Position Description
The Mine Engineer report to Study Manager, will be responsibility for evaluating, improving and supporting mine operation team, processing team, systems and standards at Kencana Minerals operations and projects to ensure that all targets for safety, environment and production are archived for the operation.
Major Objective of The Position
• Effective provision technical support of plans and schedules to aid and maximize mining opportunities;
• Provision of technical services for Pit Designs, Waste Dump designs and other designs as required;
• Provision of medium to long term schedules as well as the preparation of Annual Budget and Life of Mine Plans;
• Evaluation and assessment of life of mine schedule scenarios in ongoing basis in order to determine the best mining sequences and financial outcome depending on market and company conditions;
• The Mine Engineer will also be responsible for development work associated with evaluation of other potential deposits;
• Review of mine optimizations and sensitivity analysis, detailed pit design and development of production planning and scheduling, design and scheduling using best practice mine planning techniques;
• Provide technical support in order to finalize, update or develop pit designs mine, roads design, waste dump design and other related designs as required;
• Contribute to the development of, and review, project trade-off studies;
• Liaise with other personnel and consultants as required;

Requirements :
- Candidate must process at least a Bachelor’s Degree, majoring in Accounting.
- At least 3 year (s) of working experience in Accounting is required for this position

Detailed Job Responsibilities :
- General Ledger monitor and analysis
- Prepares monthly financial report

- Responsible to Account Payable & Account Receivable report
- Candidate must process at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Accounting/Tax Major.
- At least 3 year (s) of working experience in Tax is required for this position and working experience in Mining Company or manufacture Company.

Detailed job Responsibilities :
- Provide the management reporting and analysis to executive management
- Provide cost analysis and costing advice if needed
- Provide monthly budget reports to the company and to budget holders, working closely with them to enable them to make accurate decisions
- Prepare the half – year and annual budget, and financial forecast if needed
