Martabe Gold Mine is managed and operated by PT Agincourt Resources. The mine covers an area of 30 km2 that falls under the sixth generation of Contract of Work (CoW) covering a total area of 1,639 km2.
The resource base on 31 December 2015 includes 7.4 Moz of gold and 69 Moz of silver. Production commenced at Martabe on 24 July 2012. The operating capacity of Martabe Gold Mine is 4.5 mtpa ore to produce in excess of 250,000 oz of gold and 2-3 Moz of silver per annum.
PT Agincourt Resources engages approximately 2,300 employees and contractors, more than 98% Indonesians, of which 71% were recruited from South Tapanuli and other regions in North Sumatra.

The main shareholder of PT Agincourt Resources is a consortium led by EMR Capital, an Australian mining private equity fund (61.4% of shares). The consortium also includes Farallon Capital, a global financial investor (20.6%), Martua Sitorus (11%) and Robert Budi Hartono & Michael Bambang Hartono (7%).
To strengthen the existing management team and to ensure the achievement of the company objectives, the Martabe Gold Mine is looking for candidate to fill the role:

SENIOR PROJECT ENGINEER – ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION
(PD 1604020) 
 
This position will be based at Martabe site working on schedule 4 weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Project Manager, Capital Projects.
The role of Senior Project Engineer, Electrical and Instrumentation is :
• Manage the safe and timely execution of approved capital and operational projects to achieve planned project benefits for the Company.
• Responsibility for planning, leading and controlling electrical, instrumentation and control design, procurement and implementation for capital projects across the site.
• Oversee the development and implementation of the electrical engineering and construction activities for a new crushing and screening plant, and a new heavy fuel oil power station development, inclusive of field engineering, technical queries, QA/QC, design/standards compliance, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Be a technical resource to Operations Departments in relation to Electrical, Instrumentation and Control matters.
• Develop scopes of work, tender packages, selection of design standards, tender evaluations and project management tools to ensure that the Company is financial and legally protected while achieving optimal value on project expenditure.
• Ensure designs for all projects comply with a recognised International Standard and maintain a high degree of alignment and compatibility with existing plant equipment and spares were practical.
• Ensure an appropriate level of QA/QC is implemented and achieved to suit each projects strategic importance to the Company.
• Report progress status, including cost overruns, savings, variations, schedule changes and project specific information to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
• Supervise internal and external engineering resources and contractor required for the execution of projects.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience :
1. Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognised University.
2. 12 years’ or more experience in the design, construction and commissioning of mineral processing plants, inclusive of materials handling and crushing circuits.
3. 12 years’ or more experience is design and construction of high voltage power stations, inclusive of previous experience in construction and commissioning of diesel or heavy fuel oil generated power stations.
4. Significant experience overseeing construction contractors, inclusive of field engineering, QA/QC systems, technical queries, progress monitoring and issues resolution.
5. Thorough knowledge of international and Indonesian design standards.
6. Superior ability to identify plant design issues and develop appropriate engineered solutions.
7. Computer literate with MS Excel, MS Project, AutoCAD, Scheduling packages, pronto.
8. Superior work ethic, be able to effectively communicate with all staff and display a high degree of respect to the local people and their culture. 


CONSTRUCTION SUPERINTENDENT
(PD 1604021) 
 
This position will be based at Martabe site working on schedule 4 weeks on; 2 weeks off and reports directly to Project Manager, Capital Projects.
The role of Construction Superintendent is :
• Full field responsibility for the safe and timely construction execution of capital works projects, inclusive of secondary crushing and screening project, heavy fuel oil power station development and other capital works projects.
• Inclusive of monitoring and controlling construction contractor workforces, progress, design and specification compliance and all QA/QC systems.
• Direct Supervision for multiple disciplines, inclusive of earthworks, concrete, structural, mechanical and piping.
• Significant supervisory experience on brownfields mining projects and power station projects.
• Contribute to scopes of work, tender packages, tender evaluations and project management tools to ensure that the Company is financial and legally protected while achieving optimal value on project expenditure.
• Contribute to project reporting inclusive of contractor progress, delays and opportunities, scope changes and all potential contract variations.

Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience :
1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering from a recognised University.
2. 15 years or more in a senior supervisory position, overseeing large scale mining Construction projects across multiple disciplines, inclusive of earthworks, concrete, structural, mechanical and piping.
3. Significant experience directly supervising construction contractors in the erection and commissioning of crushing, screening and multiple conveyor process plants.
4. Significant experience assembling power generation plants either coal fired, diesel or heavy fuel oil.
5. Successful track record of overseeing construction contractors in a safe and efficient manner, across multiple sites.
6. Ability to interpret construction schedules and drive activities to mitigate any critical path risks.
7. Ability to interpret and implement engineering designs across multiple disciplines.
8. Ability to implement and manage field QA/QC programs across multiple disciplines.
9. Thorough knowledge of Indonesian and international design standards.
10. Superior ability to identify constructability issues and develop mitigation techniques with the installation contractors.
11. Superior work ethic, be able to effectively communicate with all staff and display a high degree of respect to the local people and their culture.
